My name is Ornella Mariani, I am 46 years old and I am a Psychologist and Psychotherapist. I graduated in Psychology in 1999 and have been devoting myself to people with all my heart ever since. Ever since I was a child, I unconsciously played the 'role of psychologist', supporting anyone I met in difficulty. I deeply loved this vocation, not yet knowing that it would become my profession. I believe that the greatest gift we can give ourselves is to find our *"safe place "*: a nest, a safe place where we can be free to find ourselves, to discover what it really means to be ourselves and to accept ourselves for who we are. In this space, you can feel the warmth of a familiar guide who accompanies and supports you on your journey into the soul. I attended the Postgraduate School in *Clinical Community Psychology and Integrated Humanistic Psychotherapy* at ASPIC (Association for the Psychological Development of the Individual and the Community), delving into the topics of attachment systems. Subsequently, I explored Psycho-Corporeal Analysis, attending the two-year (2013-2014) of the *School of Specialization in Psychotherapy of the Italian Society of Reichian Analysis*. In my experience, I have understood the fundamental importance of connecting with our inner child and primary attachment figures. I believe that only by repairing primary relationships can one live a serene and connected life, both with the world and with one's partner. I am in continuous training at the Villaggio Globale in Bagni di Lucca, a centre dedicated to awareness, psychosomatics and personal growth. Here, I obtained a Master's degree in Holistic Psychosomatics. For over a decade, I have been collaborating with Andrea Pagani by successfully leading *individual group therapy groups*. When I discovered the world of EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), I fell in love with it. I completed the Externship Course and Advanced Core Skill Training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, becoming an ICEEFT Certified Therapist. I am deeply inspired by the revolutionary work of Sue Johnson, who has transformed individual and couples therapy in a momentous way. Since 2019, I have been leading *Hold Me Tight* workshops dedicated to couples, receiving wonderful feedback and great personal satisfaction. I love connection, believe in the value of networking and am constantly striving to improve myself to always offer the best to the people I follow.
